MRT Hood Struts for the 2005-2014 Mustangs eliminate the need for the factory hood prop rod and give a clean, functional "performance look" to your underhood appearance. Our No-Drill Hood Struts give show car Mustangs an impressive look that sets them apart from the crowd, helping the Mustang Get Noticed! These hood struts are designed to work with the factory OE hood and to reuse existing factory hood attachment points -- No drilling required!

MRT hood strut brackets are made out of high-quality steel for the utmost durability and come standard with a quality Black Powder Coat Finish. Custom bracket colors are available for an additional fee and come in 2 options: Carbon Fiber look or vehicle factory paint color. In stock bracket colors are listed. If your vehicle code is not listed select "Factory Paint Code" and add the paint code you want in the order notes. Allow 1 week lead time for custom painted hood strut brackets.

Away with the prop rod, yay!  I love the functionality these hood struts provide. The MRT service was great and I installed the struts with no problems.

This was the first mod I made. I couldn't wait to get rid of that annoying prop rod! I've had it for nigh on 5 years, still works flawlessly!
