The Mustang V8 MRT Street Race Cat Back has deep muscle car sound and is handcrafted in corrosion-resistant T304 Stainless Steel. Base systems include T304 polished SS 2.5" turn-down tips and 2.5" mandrel-bent tube. Black Ops black matte tip finish is available for an additional fee. This system is engineered for the best sound to match your vehicle and provides increased performance from the increased exhaust flow. It has just enough exhaust presence with elevated sound to Get Noticed, Feel the Performance note, and packaged in a design without an excessive drone.
Application:
- Fits 1964-½,1965, and 1966 Mustang with 260 and 289 V8 engines.
- Fits 1965 and 1966 Shelby Mustang GT350.
- Fits 1967 and 1968 Mustang with 260, 289, 302, 390, 427, and 428 V8 engines.
- Fits 1968 Mustang California Special (GT/CS) and High Country Special with V8 engine.
- Fits 1969 and 1970 Mustang with 302, 351, 390, 428, and 429 V8 engine.
- All hardtop, fastback, and convertibles for First Gen Ford Mustangs.
Note: Due to production variability at the time these vehicles were produced, a "perfect" fit is not guaranteed.
MRT mastered this configuration on 289 engine manifold configuration. In all other engine configurations, the lead tubes may require minor modification to fit at the manifolds.Call us if you have questions.
