The Explorer MRT Extreme Axle-Back is a straight through design for extreme performance giving the most performance sound AND performance in exhaust flow. This system has a nice, full, deep exhaust note where you can definitely hear the exhaust system -- it's not howling; it's about the performance. At Wide Open Throttle (WOT), you have a noticeable exhaust presence -- it's the call of the wild, I'm coming at you! The Extreme Sport axle-back is handcrafted in corrosion resistant 2.5" mandrel bent T304 Stainless Steel and is available with 4" tips. Black Ops black matte tip finish or the standard polished stainless.
This system is engineered for the best sound to match your Explorer and provides increased performance from increased exhaust flow. The MRT Extreme is louder than the Interceptor but quieter than the RD. If you're looking for aggressive exhaust sound without sounding cheap or "tinny" or like you cut off your mufflers, this system is a great choice for you. Performance - it's all about performance!!
