MRT Ford Explorer Exhaust Systems

Start your next adventure with a powerful roar from our Ford Explorer performance exhaust systems. Your Explorer already casts a towering presence - and it should have the sound to match. Since 2003, MRT has been a leader in Ford Explorer performance parts. We apply the same exhaust technology we use for classic muscle cars to these modern sport utility vehicles. Whether you need a 2015 Ford Explorer sport performance exhaust or a basic straight-pipe replacement, we'll help you Hear the Difference, Feel the Performance and Get Noticed.

Ford Explorer Custom Exhaust Systems

The Explorer has an imposing presence straight off the factory floor. With an MRT Ford Explorer aftermarket exhaust, your crossover SUV will be even more commanding. These handcrafted exhaust systems give the Explorer the sound to match its size. The large mandrel-bent pipes also open more exhaust flow, which gives you an added surge of power. Each system has either an H-pipe or straight-through muffler design which eliminates the factory restrictions that were holding back the sound.

With a variety of products for accommodating your dream sound, technical ability and budget, MRT makes it easy to upgrade an exhaust system. We're always working on new products as well, so if you don't see the Explorer performance exhaust you've been looking for, check back again soon or give us a call to learn what's in development.

Explorer Exhaust Kits and H-Pipes

Use our fifth-gen and sixth-gen Ford Explorer exhaust systems to revamp the way you drive on-road or off-road. The Sport Touring Explorer Axle Back Exhaust has a deep, mature and neighbor-friendly Street Performance sound that gets you noticed without getting noise complaints. For sheer untamed aggression, get the MRT Extreme Explorer Axle Back that is "always on." We have exhausts for the fifth-gen and sixth-gen Explorer, letting you cut loose whether you're hauling equipment, running errands or exploring the local trails.

An MRT Explorer performance exhaust also gains you horsepower from the smoother, more efficient exhaust flow. If this added power is important to you, both the Sport Touring and Extreme series are also available in a cat back exhaust design that boosts power even more. With an Explorer cat back exhaust replacement, you'll have better acceleration, torque and top-end speed for any adventure.

What if you're on a budget or only want to fine-tune the sound? The Explorer Resonator Delete and HiFlow H-Pipe are value solutions if you want a sound bump that won't leave your bank account singing the blues. Our resonator delete offers the same extreme sound as our full-fledged exhaust systems - perhaps even more so - while the H-pipe has a more subtle and refined output.

Explorer Exhaust Systems Made in the U.S.

All MRT exhaust parts are developed and handcrafted at our Plymouth, Michigan shop just 20 miles from Detroit. We use the highest-quality T304 stainless steel with a design that doesn't require post-install tuning. The tips can be polished or painted black for a visual pop to those you're leaving in the dust. It takes just 60-90 minutes to install your new system using standard shop tools for a fast Explorer makeover. And since these exhausts have a limited lifetime warranty, you can count on them for great performance as long as you own your vehicle.

Other Explorer Mods and Accessories

While you're here, browse our full catalog of Ford Explorer performance parts. We offer a variety of throttle tuning chips and flash ECU programmers that work together with an aftermarket exhaust to draw even more from the turbocharged EcoBoost engine. These plug-and-play devices are easy to use - upload a pre-designed tune geared towards throttle response, fuel economy and any other performance need or create your own tune. Be sure to also check out our Explorer no-drill hood struts. They let you access the engine bay without a prop rod getting in the way, adding function and style at a great price.
