For track enthusiasts not satisfied with status quo, MRT offers the Street Race line of exhaust: experience a deep rumble that is always on from idle to high rpms - and when you take off, a fierce growl with a lively attitude is sure to turn heads. So, when you're going off the beaten path, our Subaru WRX Turbo Back Exhaust will bring high-performance sound and power you deserve. This system is engineered for the best sound to match your WRX or WRX STI. We designed this system to increase exhaust flow and reduce back pressure, utilizing mandrel bend straight through design and 2.5" tube for high performance, resulting in fuel efficiency and horse power you will notice. This system is not for the every day driver, however: as a non-catted exhaust system, this 2015-21 Subaru WRX premium exhaust offers the highest possible power, torque and fuel economy gains, helping put you out front in a rally meet or a battle among friends. Note that because the system removes the catalytic converter, this exhaust is not legal for use on public roads. Made specifically for racing and other private uses, it's one of the easiest ways to get you roaring to the front of the pack.
The MRT Street Race Turbo Back has enough elevated sound to Get Noticed, plenty of opportunities to Feel the Performance and is packaged in a design without an excessive drone. Our 2015-21 Subaru WRX Exhaust will fit all models from the VA series that officially marked the split from the Impreza name.
Boost Your Subaru WRX Performance
The MRT WRX Street Race Turbo Back: NC (No Cats) is our 2nd loudest system and is handcrafted from corrosion-resistant T304 stainless steel with a straight-through muffler. Base systems include T304 polished stainless steel quad 4" tips and 3" mandrel-bent tubing, which are larger than the stock tubes to increase exhaust flow. This also means bigger horsepower numbers - enough to earn this system a rare 10/10 Performance rating from our experts. A Black Ops black matte tip finish is available for an additional fee.
All 2015-21 Subaru WRX Turbo Back Exhaust systems are made in the U.S. with a limited lifetime warranty. You can install the system in your driveway or backyard using standard shop tools such as socket wrenches and screwdrivers. All hardware is included, and you don't even need to do any cutting. It typically takes about 90 minutes to install this system. No tuning is required, either. Just bring your newly equipped Subaru WRX to the starting grid and let it rip.
