This C8 Corvette exhaust system is a straight-through muffler delete design that is all about providing maximum flow and maximum performance that matches the performance sound and aggressive performance look of the C8 styling. This Corvette exhaust system is designed in an H pipe configuration for minimized back pressure flow and a deeper sounding exhaust note. This MRT cat back gives your C8 Corvette a pleasant exhaust performance presence throughout the drive cycle and even provides a few burbles and crackles as you lift off the gas and between transmission shifts. It's an "I'm ready to roll" exhaust sound that clearly says you're coming under vehicle acceleration.

MRT designed the Street Race C8 Cat Back System to give you all the performance an exhaust system can give and is made in T304 stainless steel and mandrel bent three-inch tubing. The system comes standard with polished four-inch quad tips and a "Black Ops" ceramic matte finish to match the sporty sound.
The MRT Street Race Cat Back System is our loudest C8 exhaust with minimal very comfortable drone presence. The enhanced exhaust flow increases horsepower from the LT2 engine so you go as fast as you sound. MRT's Street Race Cat Back also provides 32 pounds of weight savings compared to the stock C8 exhaust system, helping you get off the line in a hurry.
This MRT aftermarket exhaust system does not have the AFM and NPP valve simulators so each premium C8 exhaust includes a simple plug-and-play exhaust module to simulate the valves and avoid a check engine light (CEL) from appearing on your dashboard. Although you can install the Street Race C8 Stingray Cat Back yourself, it is more cumbersome than other MRT systems because you need to remove and reinstall the rear bumper. As such, we recommend professional installation.
