This C8 Z06 exhaust system is designed as a straight-through muffler delete for maximum flow and performance to match the aggressive styling of the Z06. MRT engineered this exhaust with a balanced dual Y pipe configuration to minimize back pressure and equalize exhaust flow out of the quad "faux" tips. This MRT Cat back gives your Z06 an aggressive, deeper performance sound that is refined when cruising (providing a few burbles and pops as you let off the gas!) and between transmission shifts. We love the way this MRT Street Race catback highlights the raw aggression of the Z06 flat-plane V8.

When you demand a growling, forceful, and full-time exhaust tone, the MRT Street Race Series will deliver a sweet-sounding deep roar that will Get Noticed. MRT designed this Street Race Cat Back System to provide the most performance an aftermarket exhaust can. The exhaust tubes are made from the highest quality T304 Stainless Steel with CNC mandrel-bent 3 inch tubing for the smoothest exhaust gas flow. This cat back is a direct fit to the factory's rear fascia quad tip design.

This MRT aftermarket exhaust system does not have AFM and NPP valves, so each C8 Z06 exhaust system includes a simple plug-and-play exhaust module. This module simulates the valves and avoids a check engine light (CEL) from appearing on the dashboard.

You can install the MRT Street Race Cat back yourself, however, the process is more cumbersome than other vehicles because you need to remove the rear bumper to access the stock exhaust. As such, we recommend professional installation AND if you're local to our Plymouth, MI shop, our trained staff provides installation services.
