5 of 5 Liking the system more and more... April 27, 2022

My Edge Sport is a refined high performance crossover that really needed a sound to match its character.  MRT nailed it exactly. I couldn't be more pleased with the sound and quality thank you MRT.

I have 2015 Edge Sport and did the installtion myself (I would highly recommend getting it welded,  the provided clamps might not hold the exhaust tight enough) . You can barely notice the exhaust at idle, but it has a nice rumble to it during acceleration.

Love the sound of this exhaust -- puts the "Sport" in Edge Sport!  Had MRT install and they did a great job.

4 of 5 Good sounding exhaust but needs to be welded June 16, 2020

Very happy with sound and the build quality! My only issue is that the clamps provided to hold exhaust in place are not strong enough. You have to weld this exhaust.

Took about 30 min for the muffler shop to cut out the stock suitcase and weld up these baby’s.I could have used the clamps but chose to have it welded. When I started the engine I couldn’t believe the difference from the stock muffler.Really nice tone at idle. Then I drove of and punched it. Wow! Huge difference in sound. This is what sport exhaust should sound like.
Really happy with the upgrade

4 of 5 Very Pleased February 7, 2018

I was going to try install myself but required cutting existing OEM tailpipes and then "clamping" new system on.  I did not want to use clamps, I wanted it welded.  I found a local shop that installed it (welded) for $100, all went well.

I like the system, I am satisfied. It's hard to describe exhaust sound in words but here goes.  It is only a little bit louder than stock (except under acceleration) but it is definitely deeper.  At idle and cruise, volume is hardly noticeable but  tone is deeper note.  Under moderate or heavy acceleration, it definitely sounds louder and performance-sporty but not bad (like a Honda Civic-type fart pipe).  I am pleased and will leave it on.

4 of 5 Nice Addition October 2, 2017

Put this system on a couple of weeks ago.  Took me less than 1 hour, but I have the right tools and have done this before.

If you haven't replaced an exhaust system before, IMHO, it is worth a few bucks to take it to a good muffler shop to have it done right.

Much deeper tone at idle and under acceleration.  Not overpowering, but you do notice it more than the stock OEM suitcase muffler.

Not much sound difference at highway speed than the stock system unless you put your foot in it to accelerate.

Engine breathes better as well, both mid-range and top end.

Does not run out of punch at higher RPMs.

Good quality materials and components.  Everything seems very well made and aligned correctly within the exhaust hangers.

Overall, very happy with my purchase.  Not many choices out there for aftermarket exhaust kits for a Ford Edge Sport, especially and AWD model, so this is a nice addition to my car and I now have a true dual exhaust system.

Thanks MRT!

4 of 5 Axle Back System November 10, 2016

Quality of the system is well built. It came with hardware for installation. Warning: this is not a simple Bolt-On. The instructions said that the OEM pipe must be cut to remove the OEM muffler. If you have the tools and skill to do the install...go for it. In prevention of turning the installation into hours of head ache; I took it to a good muffler shop. There the tech installed the system. The tech advised he had to slightly bend the pipes to align them. The system looks great and the sound.....the video does not do it justice.  When the Tech finished the install he took my car for a quick test drive....I heard the car start up then he drove away I initially thought it was another car but realized it was my car.
At idle you do noticed the increase deep exhaust note.  Normal acceleration the louder deep note is great and at cruise it's not drowning or annoying.  However when you do hard acceleration that deep sound is loud and very noticeable.
Overall I'm happy with the exhaust.
