Q. Where can I get MRT installation instructions?

A. Installation instructions can be viewed and downloaded on the installation tab of the product page. Also, product installation videos are on this tab where available.

Q. What is MRT's exhaust warranty?

A. MRT has a Limited Lifetime Warranty coverage for MRT brand exhaust systems. This warranty covers defects in material and workmanship for the purchaser of record on the vehicle in which the system was originally installed. Blemishes or appearance deficiencies due to weather, road hazard of lack of maintenance is not included. Paint is NOT covered under this warranty.

Q. How much will it cost to make a custom exhaust?

A. MRT is a custom exhaust design shop and exhaust manufacturer so we are happy to engineer a custom exhaust for your vehicle. For custom exhaust jobs, we like to see the vehicle first hand to review the vehicle, discuss your goals and provide an estimate of the work to be done. We suggest calling to schedule an appointment with our engineer to ensure he is on-site and available.

Q. How much of an increase in Horsepower and Torque will I get from my MRT exhaust?

A. MRT premium exhaust systems are considerably more free flowing than the stock exhaust components. According to our customers who have purchased and installed an MRT exhaust system, there have been small increases in Horsepower, Torque and Throttle Response. MRT does not dimension these items as test results vary due to the test operator, equipment, environment (humidity, heat, etc) and vehicle build at time of dyno testing/measurement.

Q. Will my new MRT exhaust meet state emissions requirements?

A. MRT does not make claims about meeting legal requirements; however, we have sold products throughout the US and haven't received any negative input.

Q. How can I tell if my Camaro has NPP installed?

A. The sticker in the trunk has NPP on it and you will have a quad tip exhaust.

Q. Can you still use your active exhaust and driver modes with MRT premium exhaust?

A. No. With the MRT exhaust installed, your car will be FULL TIME COOL!!! Essentially, the MRT exhaust system replaces the full exhaust OE tube so during installation, we suggest adding a MRT Power Plate to connect to the active exhaust valve motor so the check engine light is not activated on your vehicle.

Q. Do MRT hood struts work with Aftermarket hoods?

A. Yes, MRT hood struts are designed to work with the stock OE hood and will fit most aftermarket applications with a cylinder size adjustment to compensate for weight differences. Call MRT for proper cylinder sizing.
